Autumn has started, and with it, rain. But don't be discouraged by rain, this is one of the best times of the year to take pictures with golden colors, and some people told me: "Just embrace the weather."

And yes! Amsterdam is lovely in every season of the year, so we went with Charo and Daniel to walk near the Negen Straatjes area in the city center.

The Negen Straatjes or the 9 Streets of Amsterdam are "a charming mixture of designer boutiques, art galleries, vintage clothing stores, gift shops and places to eat and drink.' as The New York Times said. Walk around the streets, go for a coffee, find amazing stroopwafels, and enjoy these little streets full of charming environment.

Why choosing Negen Straatjes for your photo session?

Amsterdam is a circular city with the canals dividing each of its rings. The rings are smaller near this area, and you can go from bridge to bridge quickly, having lots of different backgrounds in less time.

That is the reason why I recommend it so much when you have limited time.

The area is also full of little cafés and designer shops, which makes it unique for some documentary images while walking on the streets.

But be aware of the same uniqueness I've told you about makes it an excellent paradise for tourists, so expect busy streets. This area is best to be visited early morning if you wish for empty streets, and in zigzag, to avoid crowds and have the best in less time.
