A Rainy Day Proposal at Tulip Experience Amsterdam: Capturing Love in Every Weather

We have planned it for at least two months, and a storm was announced a few days before. There was not enough time to change plans, and it was not possible to change the time to try to avoid the rain as it rained the full day.

I was hiding in a little greenhouse at the back of the gardens when I saw them coming; they were already completely wet, and I noticed she was wearing a dress. Amsterdam Tulip Experience may be crowded at times, but it is always a fantastic location if you plan to cycle around the tulip gardens in Lisse. And, of course, when you think of tulips, you are not thinking of rain, but it was like the sky was falling on that day. But the plan was there, and we stuck to the plan.

I saw them coming, some drops still falling from the sky, and they reached the point where he went down to one knee. He proposed, and she said yes, and it was beautiful.

I must confess we all three talked later about how cold it was. We were shaking as we were all wet, but still, they had a fantastic story to tell.

Here are some pictures we brought with us for that amazing day, and if you see some rain in the forecast, don't be discouraged; I can photograph in every weather as long as we see that it is safe being outside.
