What to do when the weather changes drastically on the day of your engagement proposal?
True story, The Netherlands has this crazy weather. The day before, only 1mm of rain was expected, which is fine for a photo session. However, Jake agreed to keep the date and time, as they didn't have more than a weekend in Amsterdam, and on the next day, it was going to be a storm.
Fifteen minutes before the agreed time, he messaged me asking for a covered place. And yes, I run to look for one very close to the primary location, and I found this deli with a bench completely dry. So, the plan changed within 15 minutes, and he had the most unusual place in Amsterdam for an engagement proposal and 3.4mm rain, and a very windy day during the complete session. But we managed, ran, got wet, went for coffee next to a heater, and continued. So, we extended the time and had plenty of images and a story.
Congratulations again, Madison and Jake, and these memories are 100% thanks to your great attitude and having fun even with heavy rain.
"Joanna was so awesome and fun! She was flexible in finding the perfect spot and made the whole experience of navigating the photo sites more relaxed and enjoyable. She managed to get great pictures in the pouring rain!"- Jake
Can you guess when the umbrella broke due to the strong wind? :)
Enjoy the pictures, and see you again soon.
