I can't believe it's Friday already! Today I will tell you a bit about what to wear for your Engagement Session. I know this is a vast subject, and why I manage this personally with every couple according to their location and mood. After we discussed the mood and location, we go into What to Wear for an Engagement Session. And this has three stages: 1) We discuss the idea to make you think about what you already have. There is no need to buy more. 2) You send me an image of what you are wearing 3) We match each location to an outfit and make slight changes or adding props if necessary.
For making things simple, let's start thinking about going on a date but only one step up on your dress code.
Engagement sessions are casual and fun and intend to describe a perfect day together. And for that reason, think about clothes that you feel comfortable in and make you feel good.
One amazing makeup artist told me to stand in front of the mirror with natural light and put one piece of clothing next to my face. Try it. You will see if your skin looks brighter or not. To notice it more, change the selection for another color. This will allow you to know which colors are better for your skin. Then, match the pieces together on top of the bed.
When you have the main pieces, add props as they allow you to elevate your outfit to the next level. Something as simple as a hat, a scarf, a necklace, or a colored raincoat can make a big difference in the final image. You can see the examples I am adding to this post to inspire your Engagement Session. These were taken in different cities, daytime, and, as you can see, moods.
We are going to continue on Monday. There are more things to talk about in Engagement Sessions.
Have a great weekend!
