Last wedding of 2019!

Sander called me a few weeks before the ceremony. They found me on Fearless Photographers, and we started to work on their wedding right away. This was a Gemmente Amsterdam, Stadsloket Zuid celebration with close family members.

For the civil ceremony, only the witnesses were present. We had an online connection with more family members that couldn't be in Amsterdam for the ceremony.

After the 30-min wedding ceremony, we moved fast to Half Moon Cocktail Lounge to have the toast and eating the delicious wedding cake. More family arrived, and you will see in the pictures how the kids have a blast during this time. It was fantastic how the bride and groom cut the cake with everyone around. This is my favorite thing about small weddings, everyone is involved at the moment at the same time, which can be seen in the pictures.

We then moved to Roberto's restaurant at Hilton's Hotel, which has an incredible selection of pasta and gives you the alternative to choose entries and a dessert platter. I recommend this place if you are planning for a small family reunion after your wedding.

Portraits of Sushma and Sander were made before sunset in the lovely Jordaan area. We drove there as fast as possible as they wanted to have their photographs taken at sunset, showcasing Amsterdam's uniqueness. That is why we went around the bridges, overlooking the beautiful canals, and showing the picturesque Westerkerk in the background. Some of the streets' winter lights can also be seen, as this was a winter wedding.
