When booking photographers, it is very rare to accept last minutes. But what if you are in a different city, you find out tulips are in bloom (and you had any idea of the blooming season), and the weather of your last day in town is as best as possible?

On a Saturday evening, I received a message from Maria. She expressed her desire to have a photography session on Sunday, her last day in Amsterdam, and specifically requested it to be in Keukenhof. The booking process is designed to be efficient and straightforward. As soon as I receive direct communication, I can use my automated system to expedite the booking process after manual approval. Let me walk you through the three simple steps we followed to make this happen.

1. Maria had to request the session through the online booking system like any other client and follow all the steps. However, as the system will not allow the next day's booking, she selected Monday and commented that it was intended for Sunday and in Keukenhof. The time is fixed on the booking as well.

2. Then, I needed to approve it; I manually changed the date to Sunday and reminded her about the transport fee applied to all locations outside Amsterdam.

3. The system will send her a message with a complete booking step, in which she pays online and automatically receives a questionnaire about preferences, outfits, and locations, among other things.

That's it, first message arrived at 8:30 pm and she was completely booked before 8 a m. for her 4:30 pm session at Keukenhof gardens in Lisse.

For Keukenhof this is always possible in April, which is the only month I am going to the tulip gardens and fields. But, can I accept last minutes in Amsterdam? Yes, of course.
